Once, just once, would you like me to back up at least two feet before I photograph a flower? I wonder if I even could. I'm afraid I might start convulsing and be overcome with extreme agitation.
Fantastic pictures. Check out and click on the third picture...it's a preying mantis...you can see a teeny drop of water on him.She must have the same camera as you
Friday I had to bring my son to he Urgent Care and they've redecorated and its so beautiful with faux wood floors and warm colors throughout but.....but....but guess what? Guess what the new art work was??? Close ups of flowers JUST LIKE YOURS!! Beautifully framed close ups just like the orange once and they were stunning on the walls. Keep it up, they are beautiful.
But doesnt this particular, tho beautiful, closeup remind you of a dinosaur movie? Like a close up right before the big meat eating dinosaur eats the little helpless plant eater???grum grum grum yum yum yum and then the little helpless plant eater is eaten.
MJ...Stargazer Lily? Sounds too exotic for my small town! :)Pamela...those were neat! Thanks for the mega link.Pixielyn...hope your son is OK. And seriously, I thought the photo resembled a man-eating plant when I first looked at it.Emmakirst, Christina Shaver & Songbird...thank you for the sweet words. My Middle Child Syndrome thanks you, too. :)Debs: Nikon D70S. The D50S is just as good for less $$$, though.
Love the pictures - all of them! The close ups are fun. I've always enjoyed trying to get a close-up but never get that close. Guess I need to convince hubby to buy a macro lens next. We have the same camera and I love it! We have a wide-angle which is fun and a couple tele-photo lenses.
thanx Ree!! I was so getting a complex since no one else mentioned the man eating look of it, I thought it was just me *chortle* and yes my son is fine, just a badly sprained wrist. thnx.
Ohh is that a Stargazer Lily? It's beautiful. And no I don't want you to back up.. I adore these macro makeout sessions.Keep 'em coming!
